Deviated Septum Question
DH has a deviated septum and now that he's got health insurance (thanks to me), he's thinking of getting it fixed.can someone recommend a good doctor in LI (we live Farmingdale, though anywhere on LI is fine)
also, what is the recovery time for something like that? Will DH need to walk around with a bandage or whatnot on his nose?
TIA

Re: Deviated Septum Question
I had my septum done by Dr. Gargano in Bayshore - all of the docs in his practice are good -375 East Main Street Bay Shore, NY 11706
(631) 665-2430
I didn't have a bandage, but you do have to have packing in your nose for about 5 days.
The actual surgery is quick - i was in at 9 and home by 1. I had mine on a Thurs and was back to work Monday. Was not as painful as I had feared!
