So after much bickering (HamptonsBride-you will remember this and laugh)....we are moving to Boca Raton in November right before our anniversary...I am gonna miss NY and my buddies (i will be up here often) but it is for the best-we have a gorgeous home and I am really excited to be away from my crazy IL's! But I have to take the Florida Bar Exam (I need a puke icon-PegaLega or Gemmifer?)
At least I will be near one of the best shopping malls with Neiman Marcus!!!
i'll miss everyone but at least I will be on here while I am studying!!!!

Oh man...i thought it was just an 'idea'!!! Well look at it this way...you will be licensed in 2 states (because i know you will kick a$$ and pass)...it will be warm all year long (no more freezing & driving in snow)...and you will always have a place to crash in the Hamptons if you want to come visit!! Our pull out couch isn't that bad...haha...or maybe Blaine will get a job down there & we'll be neighbors again!!!

I know how you feel. I was the same was 3 years ago when i moved to Central FL. I missed everyone and was homesick but family and friends visit every few months so it isn't that bad. I too travel every so often up to NY to just hang out for a weekend. It might be a big adjusment but you will get the hang of it. I just want to warn you to watch out for all the old folks where you will be living they are the worst. Boca is a beautiful place to live and as I said you will do fine.
Good luck on your bar and with your moving.

my SIL moved to Boca Raton Right after she got married. her DH si from there and she LOVES it. she does miss NY, but you are in a BEAUTIFUL part of Florida!! you'll love it!
and try not to stress about the Bar. DH passed bar here too and said that NY and CA have the hardest Bar exams, so you should be okay.
