...when they want to start TTC after they got married? DH and I were dead set on not trying until about 3-5 years, and now we're thinking just waiting a year might be a good plan.

Anyone else change their minds??

Nope, before the wedding we both said no kids and we are still on that same page, especially now that we have our puppy-we have our hands filled with him

DH & I are still pretty young, and we've said from the beginning that we want to be financially secure before we have kids (and have a house)- and we're on a 5 year plan for that...
We want to take our time and enjoy ourselves...and travel!

DH is 32 and will be 33 in Sept, and I turn 30 2 weeks later.

We aren't trying yet and I don't really feel ready to try. I'm really starting to hit a high point in my career and I'd like to hold onto that as long as possible. Once I step away to have children its going to be really hard to get back in once my kids go to school.

Honestly I'd love to start TTC next April after my friends wedding that I'm a BM in...

Part of me just doesn't feel ready yet, and I'm old, I should!

You're not old! Im 35 Ahhhhh & just starting. Its ok to wait a year. Talk to the DH sweetie. He may be on the same page. Hope it works out.

First we were going to wait a year....then we were going to start trying like now-ish....
and now-ish with my new job we're pushing TTC till late summer/early fall.

I think it's normal to change your mind about timing a baby. Even though it's tough to plan out.

We're secretly hoping we just get pregnant as a 'woops!' without ever TTC.

Soo... we decided to try right away. Like on the HM. haha! so we did. and it worked!!! but then I had a mc in Jan so now we are currently TTC again (but not doing any temping or anything like that... just not protecting it from happening).

we were al gung ho for HM babies but then as the wedding approcached i started to get scared about the whole thing. DH said he's good with whatever time i choose.
i decided to come off the pill and just let nature take its course

We originally said at least 3 years. But now we are thinking TTC later this year. I have some issues at work and would like to see what happens in the next few months before committing. I did go off BC....and yes my cycle is all whacky, it definitely stinks. I also bought Taking Charge of your Fertility, to start reading.

we were thinking prob maybe 2 years-but our minds were changed when we found out we were expecting A LOT sooner than that.

we always wanted kids relatively soon, we got married young, so we could be young parents. we flip-flop every day practically. one day its like 'lets try now' then the next i'm planning on waiting for a year or more.

idk when we will be 100% sure we are ready. but i am going off the pill in august, so if we aren't careful it could be any time after that!

I have gotten women pregnant before (with acupuncture that is, lol) Did I tell you the woman that I did the treatments on is due on my wedding anniversary?
