Did anyone get cancellations?

Jenn, I think it is very rude that she didn't tell you herself.

So far I have one cancellation - the freakin deacon who was supposed to marry us!!! Thats right, two weeks ago he calls and asks if it is okay if someone else marries us, becuase he has something he has to do that day. Hello!!!

Hopefully no one else will cancel on me.

We had 3 no-shows, one was one of our groomsmen he said it was the weather (he lives in Boston) but my sis has a friend in Boston who said what snow? The other was my DH cousin who was stuck in a snowstorm up in Buffalo

Becky our Pastor almost had to have someone else do the ceremony for us too, his son was getting sent over to Iraq for the war so we understood. His son was able to come home before getting deployed so he could do it

Thankfully we didn't have ANY no shows - instead we had the opposite - 2 ppl come that I didn't expect. One brought his daughter to the reception (we didn't include any kids) and the other was a relative that was able to attend at the last minute. It worked out fine though with the seating arrangements, and I would have preferred too many then too little
