I got 672 proofs. I felt like ther was some missing, so I asked to see the proofs that wernet printed. We keep going back n forth, but it seems like I won't be able to see them....
My concern is proofs that wernet printed or shown to me until AFTER my album is done. What if I really like some photos that wont be able to go in my album???
And why are they doing this-why am I not able to see my OWn proofs??

My Photog was great in that way... he gave me a whole CD (well a few CDs) that had all my proofs on it High-res... there were a couple that werent printed out, but at least i could see them all... iw ould definitely demand that read-only CD!

Honestly, I don't get what the big deal is. Duet was very clear when I booked them that we would not get every single proof. And seriously, I had so much trouble with the 600+ I did get, I couldn't imagine going through 2000! If the pictures you do have are beautiful, shouldn't that be enough?

I felt it was totally clear too. I don't understand what the big deal is either. It clearly said in my contract that I'd get a minimum of 500 proofs and xyz enlargments. Obviously, I knew they took more pictures than that, but they use their judgement and choose the best ones.
Honestly, this is something that isn't really Duet's 'fault', it is how they run their business.

I completely agree- They tell you a certain amount of proofs and thats what you get!
I WANTED to pay for the Original Cd with all the proofs-but I was well aware that it was not included and I think $30.00 to have those pictures is not so bad...DO I wish they just threw it in-of course-but I should have thought about that and included it in the contract-I didnt realize

I dont mind forking over 30 bucks for a cd if it enables me to see everything.. it would have been better if it were disclosed at the outset, though, since i would have bought it when i booked them over a year ago.
Truthfully i wish what we received was everything we expeceted.. but it wasnt. Right now my wife hasn't even told her family we received them as she's embarassed about the quality of the photos.
Based on the printed proofs, it's crystal clear that their judgement of what is good (whoever selected the ones that were printed) is much different than ours. I'd much rather have the option to sift through as many as they took.. if it were 1,000, 50,000, or 100,000, i'd be happy to go through them.
I ordered the CD, so i'm hoping there are lots of great photos they only chose not to print.
