I took my husband's last name. I love my maiden name but I am also traditional and wanted to change it. I am sad but it's ok.

didnt change. I feel like i am who i am (ha sounds funny)...and if i change my name i'll loose my identity. plus my last name is difficult as it is, his is much worse!

I was so excited about changing my name that the day I got back from my HM I was at SS and DMV changing my information.

Nope haven't changed anything officially yet.

At work I still go by my maiden name.
Socially, I have done both hyphenating and going by my married name.
I am trying them all out to see which i like the best.

nah....... it's way too complicated (both the paperwork, and his last name )

besides, then my paycheck couldn't be addressed to the same last name as my publication name...... which you can't really change over your career..... and that would simply be wierd.......

I took DH's name and was glad to get rid of my maiden name!

I changed it at work and on all my financial accounts. I just haven't had a chance to change my Drivers Lic. or SS card yet but, I can't wait .
