For offical stuff I use my Maiden, but other wise I use my married name. Like if Iabel things at work I'll put xxxx-xxxxx

My DH is not keen on my hyphenating But I just couldn't give up my name. Guys jut don't understand.

I made my maiden name my middle name on the marriage license, but I haven't changed it anywhere else and I don't think I am going to. FH is lukewarm about my hesitation.

I only changed it on my marriage license.
I use my married name socially all the time, but all of my legal paperwork is still in my maiden name.
I still don't know what I'm doing with my name Maybe I'll just leave things the way they are. I don't know.

I changed it. Wasn't bad at all. I thought it would be a lot worse going to SS and DMV, but I lucked out.

Yup! I made it official yesterday with SS & Drivers License. Now I just have to switch bank and all the bills...oh and have to change it with payroll too.

Nope..and not doing it. Dh even suggested I keep my name since i am trying to get known for my art...(he's in marketing..haha)

I know, you're being all efficient and changing your name when you change your address!!

I gladly took DH's name. I'm traditional in that sense and always knew I'd take my husband's name, I did it right away and love it!!

nope I kept my maiden name and the kids will be hyphanated. I don't mind if paople call me by dh's name as long as it is not Mr & Mrs. Adam *********. That drives me insane because I have my own name there is no reason to exclude it. We are a partnership and should be treated as such.
