DH and I made friends with a few couples and hung out with them the whole time. We are now making plans to visit 2 couples in Ohio for an Ohio State game.
My friend just told me on her honeymoon they didn't talk to anyone because on a previous vacation they met a couple who turned out to be swingers and wouldn't leave them alone the whole time!!!

We got friendly with 3 couples...all from NY/NJ area! We already had dinner with them! They are so fun!

Weddingmoon-Yes they actually got engaged a few days before our wedding. They got engaged right infront of us. It was so neat They got engaged on Tues night, we got married on Thurs. They came to our wedding we had a blast with them. They also came to a friends party so we have seen them since we got back. That reminds me I have to send them an email to hang out again. lol

We briefly had conversations with others but didn't find the 'It Couple' yea I think I ran into a swinger type as well this girl in a leopard Dress was dancing very exotic with her guy and when he was tired she came up to me and asked me to dance with her to some slow song (I never met her in my life)
I think it may have been the crowd that was there and just wanted to keep to themselves (understandable) with the exception of Leopard Girl .Many people thought I was crazy when I tried to talk to them- maybe I am just crazy

we met a couple from california, we went out with a few times during our hm, and we email each other a few times a month, they where there celebrating there 1year anniversary

Yes, we made some friends there, but we didn't hang out with them too much. The last day we made friends with a couple that I had wished I met earlier because I could have hung out with them the whole time. We spend hours talking to them the last day and the whole way home! We email every now and then.

No at all! We didn't want to meet anyone either. But, we started talking to a few couples at the pool bar, and we really hit it off.

Hell no! Sorry but my honeymoon was to hang out with my hubby. Got the feeling that 99% of people at our hotel felt the same way though. I'm such a *****

No....
We went to a very quiet resort. there were nice people there, but they seemed older and we kind of kept to ourselves anyway.

We went to a party in Antigua and ended up walking around and going to the different overlooks. We were by ourselves when another couple came up and asked if we wanted them to take our picture. Within 30 seconds of conversation we realized they live one block away from us! So weird to meet in the middle of no where like that. We email on occasion and hopefully will hang out one day. Other than that we met one other couple that was on a tour with us and ended up seeing them at the pool and hung out for a while. But that was it, we really wanted to be left alone most of the time.

We made some friends with other honeymooners and huge out with them a couple of nights. It was alot of fun. We didn't stay in touch after though.

yep! and we still keep in touch through the occasional email...the one couple is actually from Nassau County - so this thread is just a reminder that we really should get together with them! lol. BUT, we met a few (particularly 3) really GREAT couples...it was nice because they were there for a week, but the hubby & i were there for two....so we hung out a bunch at the beginning, and then once they left we had time for JUST us. in fact - i'm gonna send 'em an email now

Yes, we become friend with an English couple who migrated to Barbados and 2 staffs of Fairmont Royal Pavilion. We keep in touch through email and IMs. They invited us to stay with them the next time we visit Barbados.
