totally random--but hey---i'm your NOTW--i can do what i want!
so i always noticed a lot of bridal stuff has things like 'today i marry my best friend.....'
and i thought....my dh is totally NOT my best friend. my best friends would be my sister and that wh0rebag mrsvpt---but definitely not my DH. don't get me wrong--we are close as can be but i just don't see him as my best friend. but i know i'm probably in the minority here.
so do you think that you married your 'best friend'?

he is one of my best friends
but i cant talk to him about certain things like you can talk to your girls about
he gets mad at me sometimes and sayd why ct i be your #1 best friend
and i said..when we can shop all day for shoes..talk about periods and me be confy enough to talk about Bould vements with..then you can get to be my BF...until that..sorry..your second best to her
and he says..well thats the stuff i dont want to know and it proves my point

Yes - definitely!
I tell him everything. I even go shopping with him. He is a great listener.
Although he does not replace my female best friends, he still is the first one to whom I go for advice and to share news.

i dont talk to him about a lot of stuff bc i know his eyes would glaze over and he would fall asleep - but i dont care if my sister or my best friend cares about what i have to say bc i am telling them anyway
i am also VERY private about certain things that i would NEVER talk to him about and I can talk about them with my friends so . . .
nope he isnt -but he is something even better

Yes, DH is definitely my best friend I have another girlfriend who I am very close with- but DH beat her out for the #1 spot

yep, i definitely married my best friend!! im closest with him (family relationships w/ mom and sisters are veryyy close but totally different and so cant really be compared). i genuinely feel very heard and understood by him. we talk to each other about everything. hes the first one i go to and vice versa. we have so much fun together being jack@asses. if noone else, we crack eachother up. hah

Honestly, yes he is. I don't have a sister and although I'm close with my family I wouldn't say any of them are my 'best friend'. It was actually difficult choosing my MOH because I just don't have that tight-knit relationship with anyone. I ended up asking my one friend from college that I kept in touch with, and I consider her my best female friend but we don't have that 'share everything' relationship that typical best friends have. When I met Kevin it was like I was talking to someone I had known my whole life, I just felt so comfortable and relaxed around him the way you feel with your BFF. So yea, very quickly he became my best friend...with benefits!!

it's so funny that u ask this question cuz i remember when i was making my programs and wanted to put a quote in, i was using a part of the 'on this day I marry my best friend...' quote and i was telling my best friend that i think it's a lie cuz i dont consider him my best friend. she was so surprised, but no, i dont consider him my best friend. there are times that i dont expect him to understand things and so i'd rather tell my best friend or my sister who would not only listen but offer advice. dh always listens to everything i say but is not good at the advice giving. also, his parents really annoy me (even though they're nice people) and i definitely cannot tell him that!

Hmmm...good question. Not really, but to be diplomatic, he's my best guy friend.
The PP who said that the whole 'this day I marry my best friend' did not apply to me either. I could see everyone being like 'Why is she referring to Michelle?' We have been BFF FOREVER, and I would never give anyone, including DH, that title!

he is one of my best friends, and the only person who hears about EVERYTHING gong on, but that's more b/c i get to see him every day, whereas my other friends I don't. I seem to have very good ('best') friends in each of the different segments of my life.

through the years and even after the wedding ive come to realize that those who i did consider to be very good friends werent- but Rich stuck it with me through thick and thin so yes i married my best friend!!

Definately and he is pretty much the only BF that has been there for me through the tough times I went through as a teen .We have been together since i was 17 and now that I am 28 I realize he was there for my most important yrs

YES!!! Dh is most def my BFF.LOL. I am more comfortable around him than anything. He goes shoes and clothes shopping with me, even the salon and sometimes while I get a mani/pedi... He is amazing.
ETA: He also dyes and cuts my hair...

Yeap, well one of my best friends...and now he is trying to steal my female best friend (my MOH) away from me...
But since DH and I both have the maturity level of 6 year olds, it works pretty well for us. And I can make fun of people with him. And he puts up with me. So I would say he is tied for #1.
