I have a large cardbaorad copy paper box covered in wedding wrappign paper that my friend gave me to keep weddign stuff in whiel palnning. I want to get rid of it but I still want to save stuff like my shower & wedding favors, my shower guest book, by tiara. . . where do you keep these things? I don't have room for a trunk or hope chest or anything.
Any suggestions?

I have a small box that my mother gave to me. It is similar to a hat box, but rectangle. Very pretty! I think she either got it at Michael's or JoAnn's.
I have my dried bouquet, my tiara, a favor from the wedding. The guest book & pen. My garter belt, and I think that's it.
I love it! It matches the 'Theme' of my wedding.

I have one of those hat box type things too. I am thinking of making a scrapbook of some of the mementos, but I guess a tiara wouldn't fit neatly in the pages

and do you keep it out, on a bookcase or soemthing, or stored away ina closet? I think I need to decide what to keep, I have cards still too. I have my bouquet, I was thinking of getting a clear cube to put it on display, but I don't know if that will be funny looking?

It is stored in the closet. I just have too much stuff for a 1 bedroom apartment! Maybe when I get a house, I will display some more things. Right now, ontop of our entertainment center, I have a few picture frames with photo's from our wedding.
I still have all of our cards too. I will probably keep those forever. My mother made me a nice card holder bag for the day of the wedding. They are all still in the bag. (opened of course! )
Oh yeah, I forgot, I still have the two ring bearer pillows in that box as well. My mother made them too.
My Bouquet didn't dry very nicely so, I won't ever display that, unless I get it re-created. But I love the idea of the cube, picture frame etc... to display it in, as long as it is well preserved and looks nice.

I bought a shadow box at Pottery Barn and put in our invitation and flowers from my bq and DH's bout, sorry about the glare I took a picture of it while it was on the wall:
I love that shadowbox- I have some things that I want to save (wish I'd tried harder to save my bouquet or some flowers from it) but at the moment I have no place for anything, so it's all in a box.

All my wedding 'schuff' is thrown into a box as well.. well except my tiara, that I put with my dress and veil at my MILs... the rest of my stuff , well some is in a shoebox, some is in a gift bag .. its entirely a mess (and I have no room to 'strew' either

I don't even know where my tiara & purse are. Somewhere at mom's I guess. I don't need to keep the purse but my 'sixpence that wouldnt' fit in my shoe' is in there (i think)

I have stuff all over the place. As a matter of fact the place card that DH's mom gave us is sitting behind my computer monitor right now!
I love the idea of a shadow box. One of our friends actually made us one just with our invitation. It was such a sweet gift.
I have a good story...
Before our wedding, I kept telling everyone that I really wanted one of the colored glasses to break under the chuppah that later gets put into a mezzuzah. (A mezzuzah goes on the doorway of Jewish homes..it contains a blessing, and the cases can be very decorative).
Anyhow, by the time of our wedding, no one had bought us one, and we didn't want to spend the money on it ourselves. So, Brad just broke the glass provided by the temple, and we left it there.
Fast forward to two weeks later, after our honeymoon. We were opening gifts and our friends gave us a gift certificate for one of the break glass mezzuzah's from Yussels, in Merrick. I was so upset b/c we didn't save the glass!
A week or two later, I get a call from my mom. My father's cousin, who took a ton of pictures at our wedding, had sent two photo albums, one for my parents and one for us, full of gorgeous photos. Along with that, they sent a plastic box with cocktail napkins from our cocktail hour, and one of our cloth dinner napkins, which was wrapped around...our broken glass!!
I was so ecstatic, I was in tears..it was so sweet of them, and I felt like it was just meant to be. So now, the shards of our broken glass are in a mezzuzah on the doorway to our bedroom..it's just beautiful!

Ditto. My desk is only half piled to the ceiling now. Ahhhhhh I have no wedding motivation anymore.

Thank you! I got the idea from Pottery Barn catalogs. Here are some pics from there:
I saved almot EVERYTHING...and most of it is in a big basket in my work room. I plan to assemble some of it for display and stash the rest in a nice trunk for future generations to enjoy.
I still haven't had my dress preserved! So one thing at a time!
OH...also as a gift...right after the wedding, we received a framed and preserved copy of our invitation! My roomate from collage sent it to me!
We made them by hand, so this was really special! It hangs in our hallway, so I see it every day.
