Did you take pictures on your wedding day that you really didn't want to take?

did the photographer ask you guys to pose a certain way or hold each other a certain way and you really weren't comfortable with the picture because you and your dh don't really express yourselves that way (ie: kissing your hand kneeling down or dipping you)? did you tell the photographer it was a shot you weren't really interested in?

fi and i act much more like best friends around other people- no pda here- so i think we would both laugh if the photographer asked us to do some of those shots. it's more natural for the photographer to get a shot of fi slyly trying to pinch my a$$

so then tell the photographer what type of pictures you do not want. They will do whatever you ask them too.

we made the mistake of going along with the photographer and I dont like my pictures..we just thought maybe they knew best..wrong..all those poses are just not our style...definately speak up if you are uncomfortable

Wasn't really our photographer, but our videographer was taking stills with the camera and at one point asked us if we wanted to lay down on the ground and take some pics. DH and I just looked at each other with strange faces and laughed. We were standing in the middle of our catering hall and this guy wanted us to get down on the floor in our pretty outfits. We just said no and laughed it off!!!

We are sooo not a PDA couple, so some of the pictures you can tell we are cracking up. But I'm actually glad we took them though. They came out cute.

I hated the ones taken with a wide angle lens and i hated the ones where he has me look down at my flowers. Just not me!

YES YES YES

I showed him pictures I liked and he made us do this stupid pose where DH is kissing my neck/chest and I'm leaning back - I personally didn't like that pose for us (not saying it's not a nice pose, just not for us). I should have stopped him right then and there but I didn't and now I wish I had because I really wanted different shots and poses and he never did them.

I hope I like my pictures.

My husband was dying w/ some of the poses that he was told to do. He so not into PDA! We were laughing our arses off. But I have to admit they came out cute.

Our photographer kept asking us to sway back and forth and knock our hips together. It was so awkward and uncomfortable and we were part laughing at it and part rolling our eyes at her.

She said it makes for really cute pictures, but we just couldn't get it right. My DH just said, enough with the swaying, no more swaying!
