Poll of the day! Most (hoping all) do trust our DH! ...but whenever he comes home from hanging out with the boys, or a long day at work, or even randomly..do you go through his phone? to check his call list, or text messages..? just wondering because my friend just called me saying her DH gets furious when she plays around with his phone even though theres nothing in it and i had this longgg talk with her.. so i thought it was interesting question...
personally, i do once in a while...

his phone is wayy cooler than mine... so yes i do.. to play games and send text messages (we didnt'; change our plan yet).. my phone is just a phone..

I only pick up his phone if he asks me too otherwise I do not touch it.

I voted for Other b/c I never do. Not only do I trust him, I really just don't have the patience. I actually feel bad if his phone is ringing and i'm near it and pick it up to answer b/c he won't make it in time. Strange right.

its funny bc i dont like picking up his phone even when he will ask me to do so. Sometimes he asks and i will just say who is calling and run to give him the phone. But other than that i almost never pick up his phone when somebody calls, even when he'll ask me and sometimes he says 'why cant you just pick it up'

You sound so much like me..I normally dont' answer either but if he's in the kitchen washing dishes (yes he does the dishes) and I know he's waiting for someone to call I'll run to get his phone b/c he's deaf and would never hear it.

I cant count on 1 hand how many times I looked at his phone. He doesnt care if I look either and I can look at his. We know eachothers passwords for email, etc so there is nothing to hide.
If a guy is being sneaky and has something to hide....he is going to hide it and delete those texts that you arent supposed to see!!!!!
ALSO - I dont agree with guys who are private and keep their phone on them all the time or password protected. That seems suspicious to me.

I chose other because my answer is No, but there's not password on his phone - that would be slightly worrying to me. I just really don't care, he looks at my phone occasionally, usually because I'm too lazy to get up and check it when it rings or I get a text, so he gets it for me, haha.

I picked other because I never even thought about going through his phone. I would be really annoyed if he went through mine...even though neither of us have nothing to hide. It's just a matter of privacy to me.

I hate to say this but if I had looked at my ex-husbands phone a bit sooner than I did, I would have known about the affair he was having before it was 8 months in. I only looked when I really felt I needed to and my suspicions were confirmed, just a bit too late. You would think after this I would constantly be checking DH's phone... Ironically I don't. I trust him. Either I am stupid or just blinded by love LOL

i do here and there... not b/c i'm looking for anything, but like other ppl said, sometimes i'm bored & nosy... but DH does the same thing to me so its really not a huge thing
he has my email, ebay, facebook etc passwords... and i have his - we are constantly doing things for each other on the computer or with the phone so i know he doesnt have anything to hide

I guess this would be other, but no, I just don't., not b/c of a password or anything. I don't see any reason to. My Dh is the type that if he didn't need a cell phone for work he wouldn't have one. He doesn't even text message. He's never looked through my phone (that I'm aware, but don't think he does).

theres a way to check even deleted texts lol but only the last 10 deleted texts. And its reasons like this that i do it, its not even about any info i do find but its just a game about how to find out the info. I like technology and like figuring out things. I was proud that i knew how to check even deleted texts haha. But after I found out how i actually haven't been doing it. I tested it out and thats it, and i was proud of myself bc not only did i test it out but i didnt snoop to do it. I told DH how i know how to do this and he wanted to see for himself so i did it and showed him instead of being sneaky about it lol. I also tested it on my phone to see how it works.
Yeah if they are too private with it then i think its weird bc i am the type of person that if someone looks at my phone i am just like ok i have nothing to hide. DH is the one who gave me all his passwords bc he said just in case i need something lol i dont know what i would need but you never know i guess.
Again doesn't excuse snooping. I have honestly been doing good and really do my best not to. Only things i see are things i just happen to see bc i do use his laptop. I do use his phone for certain things and many times its him asking me to look at a certain thing. Hopefully i'll get to the point where i NEVER do it lol.

awwww ia m so sorry that happened to you. But in the end you found somebody much better that you can trust so i am glad it worked out for you

YES lol. But don't get into this bad habit hahaha. Oh its so funny but i just saw something about this online today but it was about checking someones email lol
i can honestly say that in all the time we've been together i've never once gone through his phone. there's no need to.
same here- I am sure if I wanted to see it he wouldnt care, and we're on the same plan so I could see who he calls and what texts he gets, but its his business
Exactly! I trust him and have no reason to know what he is texting to his friends.

I chose other because I don't do it and he doesn't have a password on it. I have no reason to see who he calls or who calls him. He treats me with the same respect, although IF he wanted to, he's more than welcome to at anytime. What's mine is his and what's his is mine, right?

No i never go through is phone, sometimes he will ask me to answer it, or if he is driving he will tell me to type a message or email to someone.
And he doesnt go through my phone, he can if he wants and if something juicy is going on, i will let him read my messages because i want to share it with him.
he does not have a password on his phone and neither do i
