thats what i was thinking, we went to florida last week for 5 days and as we are sitting waiting for our plane, i see a couple with 3 children under the age of 6 with no shoes on running around

Never. My kids will not be walking around anywhere public without shoes on. (exception.. pool area)
I was in Penn Station waiting for my train one night & this little girl (4 or 5 yrs old) was laying on the floor facedown & rolling around while her parents just watched her.
I called my mom to tell her how gross I thought it was & she told me that my father would not even let me look at the floor let alone roll around/sit on it.

No way. There are too many germs in the airport floors. Yuck people spit on the floors, what it there is a needle (yes i may be over-reacting) but no way.

EWWW nooo i would NEVER!!!
i am a totally barefoot whoore - but an airport is crossing the line - even for me & i walk around barefoot in a lot of places that most people find repulsive lol

i was at the airport this week and saw a couple with 3 children and they were letting the walk all over the airport on with shoes and i was really skeeved, so i didnt know if it was just me or if i was just a germaphob

Ditto. I cringe when I have to take off my shoes and walk where hundreds of thousands of people walk through everyday barefooted
