Do you send TU for bounced checks?

Now that i have started my thank you's, I cant decide if i should send a thank you to the people whoes check bounced. And if i do send one what do I write? Please help!!

I would thank them for coming. did you let them know there check bounced or try to re deposit it. maybe it was a mistake and they didnt transfer enough cash into there checking account i have done that before and bounced a check at the gym.

I would thank them for coming and believe me i am sure they aware that their check bounced!! maybe they will get your TY and send you something.

Yes, since they may not have realized it bounced.

I did that once totally unexpectedly. Thankfully it was my cousin and I called her to apologize. She figured it was not something that normally happened!

Besides, you're also thanking them for attending the wedding.

I'm sure they'll know they bounced it - the bank sends them a letter, and if they are not jerks they'll resend it or call you to apologize.

I would still thank them for coming. I am sure that their bank has already alerted them that their check bounced and they are embarassed enough. I know I would be!

How many bounced checks did you get???

I did. Even though a check bounces, the guest I am sure is embarrassed about it and will still give you money. Either that or the bank keeps trying to deposite it until it clears.
If you are writing the thank yous before that, then just thank them for being there to celebrate your big day.

Thank god I only got one bounced check. But i never even thought to check my guest list against the gifts like some other girls did. Ummm I wonder lol

hmmm good question!!!

his parents and sister didn't even get us cards!! (or gifts, but i don't care about that). but I'm really annoyed we didn't even get a card.
