with your husband? If so, how often? We try to once a month...sometimes it's hard to be creative after going out for years, and now that we're married we see each other every day anyway. Any suggestions of something different and fun to do?

I'd say we go at least twice a month. We usally go out to NYC and try a new restaurant. Sometimes the movies etc....
I love going on dates with DH . I love getting all dolled up and going somewhere fancy

We do go on dates.. not as often as we would like but we try to go out to dinner or to a movie..

we go out every friday at midnight for dinner & drinks in the city. we also go out every sat night and sunday afternoons is reserved for our barnes and noble date! i get dressed up and i love it.

We just came back from one! We went out to dinner! We try to do it at least 1x a week.
As far as keeping it fresh and new, we play games, poker, go to dinner, hot tub, American Idol , really anything...but he goes out 2-3 nights a week to play poker with the boys (1 night) and does jui jit zu (2 nights). That way I get my work done and we don't get sick of each other.

for a while we were, but lately, with money being so tight, we dont.
Instead we've been going out with friends a lot.
BUT, since you posted this, its got me thinking we could rent a movie and do a movie night together

i didnt see the second part to your post until now. One thing DH and I do a lot, is we'll have a few drinks together (sometimes just at home if we cant afford to go out). Gives us some time to relax, chat, and reconnect after a long week.

during the winter we go to dinner every saturday night, i get dressed up ( he doesnt, lol) and we try to go to different places but sometimes we end up at 'our place' this great little portuguese restaurant
in the summer we have to do daytime dates where we will go to the park or drive out to freeport if he can leave work for a few hours

We try to go out to dinner on the weekends. I don't really consider that a date for us though. It is just that we are too lazy to cook.

we do :) we try to get creative too...we always incorporate dinner or lunch - but sometimes we'll do some silly fun stuff...mini golf(woohoo!), we'll walk over to the local parks & go play frisbee or wiffle ball sometimes we'll just bring the dogs to the park & go for a walk..we have a lot of fun together...over the winter since it's been cold & we've been broke we invested in some games(that are able to be two player of course!) and we have movie nights often which i always like i also love the occasional fancy dinner! i like doing them every once in a while so they still feel special

Every week. Well we used to. Lately we falter but we had friday as 'date night/' We'd rent videos and make a special dinner tgetehr (something w epicked out of a cookbook together) and have a glass of wine and just snuggle and chill. We don't go out often cause we're both homebodies but we always liked doing that. I think I am going to try and push us to one nice out-of-the-house date though. For awhile we were going out to dinner once a week but we both prefer cooking at home which elads to the homebody issue.
