i dont know, Dh dad side of the family does a xmas party every year, theres like 8-10 familys that go.
Well they assign something to each person to help out with the party and this year DH and I got assigned to picking up gifts for the kids for when santa comes and helps out. And one of the kids name is jacey, and i dont know whether to buy for a boy or girl. And i am afraid to call and ask, i dont want to insult anyone or them think i am retarted

i said girls name, esp because of the way that it's spelled. but it really is an androgynous name, best bet is to call and ask. or maybe you can buy a gift that is gender neutral.

I called my FIL Last night he has no idea, he is gonna try and ask someone else in the family, so we dont have to call the parents directly. We really dont know that part of the family

no thats ok, i think its kinda funny too, but luckily i just found out the kid is 18 months old, so i am going with a learning toy, bc its plain and simple

No Dh doesnt know, he side of the family is so big and we only see some on them once a year at this party, but we found out today that the child is only 18 months old, so we are going to get them a learning toy.
