i do, but i'm starting to notice a red splotch on my finger underneath the ring - almost like a rash. i am wondering if hand lotion or something is getting trapped under there.

I only take mine off when I'm cleaning chicken or making a meatloaf...dont want that yukky stuff on my rings!!

I don't sleep, shower, put lotion, or clean with mine on. or cook with them on.

I don't even wear mine anymore due to personal reasons. BUT hubby is in the process of getting new rings for me. When I do get them I will never take them off only to cook, clean, put lotion on...etc.

I don't wear them when I: -shower -put lotion on -do rough manual labor -garden -heavy cleaning

I more or less wear them all the time- unless I am making something really messy like MeatLoaf or doing some kind of manual labor. I hate even taking them off for that but it is better then ruining them. To me it was put on my finger for life and ideally I would like them to stay there for life.

I've put my rings away for safe keeping, at least for teh next several months. When I got pregnant, they started to get tight, then I couldn't get them on. My fingers are just so huge now. I miss wearing them

I don't wear them to bed or when cooking. I do sometimes forget to put them on in the morning. But, my son usually gives them to me to remind me!!

I got the same type of rash. I think it's from not being able to dry your fingers after washing them.

tracy - that's what i think also. i am going to make a more conscious effort to take it off before putting lotion or anything on.

I had to do that too. I was like but I'm a newlywed. My Dr. said how happy are you going to be if you need them cut off your finger? So I kept them off. Now I just wear my wedding band. I'm afraid of scratching Damien with the engagement ring so I wear that on special occasions

I wear mine al the time, and I noticed the same red mark, so every once in a while I jsut put lotion on it, and it goes away.

I wear mine 24/7. I did develop a patch of dry skin a couple of months ago, but that seemed to go away. I've been putting on a lot of hand lotion because of this weather, so that may be why the dry patch went away.

I have the same problem.
Ladies, I think it's the winter weather! I noticed that too and used hydrocortison cream for about a week and the spot went away.
I usually only wear my wedding ring 24/7. I don't wear my e-ring every day, just on special occasions. I don't like to much jewelry on my hands

I wear my wedding band 24/7 except when doing messy things such as some cooking, yard work, cleaning
I take my e-ring off only at night when I go to bed.
