i do, but i'm starting to notice a red splotch on my finger underneath the ring - almost like a rash. i am wondering if hand lotion or something is getting trapped under there.

I only take it off when I am showering or cleaning or putting on lotion.
I leave them on all the time...except when dealing with messy food...or knitting (they get in the way - for me)
and if I am going to be in the water/ocean...

I take them off at night when I get changed for bed, and I don't wear them when doing the dishes or messy stuff.

Definetely take them off when making meatloaf or using products like lotion, hairspray.
I am curious why people take them off to sleep. Anyone?

I used to wear my ering all the time except for showeering, cleaning, lotion and going to bed.
NOW that I'm married, I NEVER wear them unless I'm going out!!!! I have no idea why! I love them ane love being married so that's not the issue. My parents never wear theirs- so maybe it's genetic LOL! My DH ALWAYS wears his ring. I'm happy about that!

I do not wear mine when I shower, do dishes, clean, work-out or sleep. Other than that, I wear the, all the time.

I don't wear mine to shower, sleep, clean, etc. I never wore jewelry to bed, and just can't get used to it now.

Nope!!! I never wear it to bed, shower, dishes cooking or anything like that I wear it to work and when I go out..... When I go to my parents to do laundry or something else I have a ring holder there so I can take them off

I have an 'everyday' band for this exact reason - I wear it EVERYDAY, regardless of what I am doing. It is a plain gold band and I wear it in the shower, to the gym, to the supermarket, to the salon, to cook - ANYWHERE, ANYTIME.
My diamond e-ring and wedding band are stored safely at the bank, and I only take them out when I am going to a wedding or special function.

Yes, except when I shower, other than that, it is always there. I interchange my e-ring and band with a plain white gold band but there is something always on. My husband on the other hand is a different story, I have to REMIND him to put his on (he is a plumber so he can't wear it at work) but then he forgets on the weekends!!!

I basically wear mine all the time. I do take them off (when I remember) to put lotion on. I also take them off in the shower (only because they get loose and come off with the soap)

I don't waer them to bed, showering, washing dishes, etc. Normally, I take them off hen I gt home from work and put them in a velvet lined box I have for them.
My DH used to wear his all the time too, until he developed a rash on his whole finger. The doctor thought he was allergic to the white gold. He kept it off for a few days and it cleared up. We put some clear nail polish on the inside of the ring, and he doesn't wear it all the time anymore, and he hasn't gotten a rash since.

i do and dh does too....every so often i get a back ring underneath it though - happens with all my rings....someone told me thats b/c i don't eat enough iron.....i htink its from lotion getting stuck there...who knows!!

I got the same type of rash. I think it's from not being able to dry your fingers after washing them.
I got this rash when wearing a ring that my parents gave me on that finger (that was before we got engaged) and it is from wearing it all the time and not letting the air get to it to dry...it was very itchy....I started taking it off and putting lotion on it...it got all better! A newlywed friend of mine had the same problem...gave her the same advice and it worked!

The minute I walk in the front door I take them both off. I do no wear them around the house. I only wear them when I'm leaving the house to go out to work etc.
