Do you wear your wedding ring 24/7??

i do, but i'm starting to notice a red splotch on my finger underneath the ring - almost like a rash. i am wondering if hand lotion or something is getting trapped under there.

I wear my rings all the time, except when I sleep. I cannot sleep w. any jewelry on, esp rings. I think my fingers swell, and in the morning the rings are cutting off my circulation.

I'm nutty... I take mine off the second I get home, and don't put them back on until I leave. Unless we have company over.

I try to keep them as clean as possible

I only take mine off when I'm cleaning chicken or making a meatloaf...dont want that yukky stuff on my rings!!

me too and I take them off when I put on lotion also!!!

The minute I walk in the door I talk off all jewelry - unless someone's coming over. For some reason - my jewelry annoys me the minute I walk in the door

I only take it off when I shower. My hand feels naked when I don't have it on.

i take mine off when i shower thats it when i sleep its on my finger and when i cook and clean i use rubber gloves to protect it.

-shower

-do rough manual labor
-garden
-heavy cleaning

or to sleep at night. I have noticed that the white gold on my wedding band is getting a bit scrateched and not as shinny as it was. I have to get it polished.

i always wear mine. i don't see a need to really take them off. the only time i do is when putting on lotion (if i remember) and if i'm doing something manual that could hurt the ring. shower, sleep, dishes .. all get done with my rings on

No. I take it off when cleaning, cooking, sleeping, showering, dressing, and when at home just relaxing watching TV or reading a book. I don't need to wear it 24/7 while at home. However, whenever I'm out during the day such as work go to the store I wear it then.

It used to be during my unmarried days while I was with DH that I was pick-up several times on the subway. I was flirting or attracting any attention but just sitting and minding my own business. On separate days 2 different guys dropped their phone number and name written on a crumple piece of paper on my lap. Another time some guy kept staring at me throughout my whole journey to work in the morning. Since I've been married I wear my wedding band together with my e-ring and no one has picked me up.

no I don't... I take them off as soon as I get home from work and put them on again in the morning right before I leave the house. I usually do NOT wear them when I'm in the house. On the weekends, I usually just wear my wedding band. During the week it's both!

As soon as I walk in to my house they are in the box that is on our dresser. The only time I wear them is when I am going outside.

This is why I got an everyday band. I wear it 24/7. I shower, clean, wash dishes, cook and wear my everyday band to work. I keep my engagement ring and good wedding band in the jewelry box. Wear them when we go out and on the weekends. Since I've been engaged I can not be without a ring so that is why I wanted a everyday band.

i do and dh does too....every so often i get a black ring underneath it though - happens with all my rings....someone told me thats b/c i don't eat enough iron.....i htink its from lotion getting stuck there...who knows!!

I get this from my jewelery every so often, I have found its when I have too much acidic foods/drinks. My mom is the same way, she was told that its the the acid levels have a reaction with the metals. I sometimes even get it with necklaces!!!

I dont wear my ring when I sleep, shower put lotion on, or wash dishes or anything liek that. I dont wear my e-ring when I sleep because I used to and found that the ring actually stays cleaner when I dont! Plus I am a tosser and I have already scratched myself once with it!

I wear them all the time - 24/7. I can't stand when they are not on!! I only take them off for heavy cleaning or gardening...when I was pg and my fingers swelled I HATED having them off - it drove me nuts. I even sleep with them!!
