DH and I just found out that good friends of ours is having a baby and im sooo happy for them! But now im def getting the baby itch;;..but DH doesnt want one yet so im stuck waiting uhhhh
anyone else in the same boat?

lol i think being surrounded by babies has done the OPPOSITE effect on me! lol.. i definetly look forward to it down the road, but not now.. i'm thoroughly enjoying my time with the hubby...i'd like to get a few vacays out of the way..we're both still going after our crazy careers... every now & then the thought of being a young mom seems nice (i'm 23)...but when the reality of it all sets in - i want to wait. I also know dh isn't ready yet...i want him to want it too ya know?? aside from that - i have a billion nieces & nephews who i just adore to pieces! SPOIL 'EM & SEND 'EM HOME!

I do think about when we will have children and I always say that I cant wait until the day comes that we do have kids but I just dont want that time to be right now. I do want us to enjoy our newlywed life but i know if it were to happen now that yes I would be the most happiest person and none of that would matter anymore bc once it does happen nothing else matters. But in the meantime I do hope we dont have a kid anytime very soon. Of course I do have moments where I do think about it but then right away I think about other things i want to do first and kinda have this selfish time for just Dh and I.
Also for me its different bc my friends do not have kids. Forget even kids, most are not even married, I only have 1 close married friend and thats it and she doesnt have kids either. So being married is a big deal alone lol. Dh's friends even most of them don't have kids. He does have more married friends than I do but then again only 2 couples have kids, but the majority still don't.

I def. do.. and i've had it. DH Will be 40 next year and even though i know everyone says i'm young and i have time... i know he's older and may get to a point sooner where he doesn't want anymore cause he's getting older.. and i def. want more than 1. My only problem is all my medical issues right now I def. don't think it'd be a good time to get pregnant.. and i'm on so many medicines for it... and some of them i know i def. cant be on while carrying a baby. It makes me a little sad. I'm hoping we get it all straightened out soon cause we were thinking earlier in the year about trying for a honeymoon baby and now we didnt even get to go on a honeymoon. 2 of our cousins are expecting any day...and i just found out a good friend of mine is expecting and we had 2 other friends give birth this year.. so the itch is def. alive and well..lol!

Hahaha I'm in the opposite. DH wants a baby so badly but I just signed up to start taking some classes to finish my degree.
He says we can wait the five years until I graduate (I'm going part time) to start having kids and I was like no way! I may not be ready now but I'm not waiting five years. This is what our parents are for... to baby sit!! LOL
I do want a baby, especially this time of year. There is nothing cuter than a little baby girl christmas dress. But in my heart I know it's best to wait a little while, just to get a little more settled in.

I itch from time to time, but am enjoying our NW life at the moment. Ask me again in about 6 months...that might change! I'm older than DH and I want a few......so sooner than later is fine with me. It is known that I'm ready when he is!

Let's see, I have only been married 2 months and 2 weeks and the past 2 weeks, I have the itch sooooo bad. Of course after you get married, everyone wants to know WHEN you are going to have a baby and my answer was 'next year'....but now....I want to start making/trying for one NOW.

It seems like everyone we know is getting pregnant. I can't wait. DH is a little iffy still. Hopefully sometime next year. But if it happends sooner that would be great!

I totally have the baby itch!!! I can't wait and either can DH...he came into the bedroom the other day out of nowhere and was like I can't wait till we have a little one running around, it was really cute. We are currently trying too so wish us luck!

we are in the exact same position...been together for almost 7 years and living together for almost 4 so weve been over the whole newlywed, honeymoon stage so i want a little one...but unfortunatly DH wants to wait for the down payment of a house also blahhhh
