DH and I just found out that good friends of ours is having a baby and im sooo happy for them! But now im def getting the baby itch;;..but DH doesnt want one yet so im stuck waiting uhhhh
anyone else in the same boat?

Oh, totally! We have several friends who have babies already. DH and I will be celebrating 11 years together in 2 weeks so I'm completely ready to have a baby with him but it's not the ideal time.

DH is 5 years older than me so most of his friends have children. Most of my friends aren't even married yet! I definitely don't have the baby itch. Especially since I have a mischievous puppy to take care of. Ollie was the best form of birth control

def not me.. we would like to wait at least 2 years and just be married for a wwhile. we didnt live together before getting married, so we want to enjoy it for a while

uhhh im so bad haha it doesnt help that im bored and doing nothing today but ive become obsessed with reading everything on the TTC board on LIF because I just want to learn about all of this stuff for when we do try

Yes!!! My sister is having a baby my SIL is having a baby, my landlord just had a baby, We went to babies r us and I was going crazy!!! I made DH push the bugaboo around lol im like you look really good doing that...I know Im a nut...
We will def start trying as we get closer to our one year mark but right now I'm enjoying being just us...I guess with all these babies we can practice lol...but the ITCH is def. there.

I agree. I feel like it would be nice to be able to start trying but at the same time we want to buy a house/condo first and be financially stable. I also want to have a few years of just us. So even when we get a place of our own I'm kinda torn. We'll see.

today was a totally confirm that we do not have that itch. I thought we did for a bit and we tried a few times but then after spending time with kids this weekend - HELL NO! We are totally waiting.

Definitely not me! I did for a while, and we tried last year for about 8 months and nothing. We have a lot of kids in our family so we are good with just us.

I think DH does a little bit, but defintely not me. I hope I eventually want to have children, but I can't see it happening within the next 5 years. Pregnant + fitness career - does not mix well.

Not us! We have Roxy our Puggle who drives us crazy but- I don't think we will be ready for a while. It seems like we will wait 5 years,,, then decide. But I am leaning towards no children. I have 2 sisters and they are 6 and 10. So if we need a kid fix we have them around.

I would love a baby....so would DH...but we know we need a house and for me to be content in my job before we head down that road. I'm going to settle for a puppy....

I have a wicked baby itch. I'm already 28 and since I'd like to have a few, we need to get started.
DH has a worse itch though! lmaoo. His cousin and my friend are currently preggo. His best friend had a kid on July and my friend had a son in June. We are surrounded! lmaooo
