I so do...I waited 37 years to buy them & keep them out in the open - and now that the wedding is over I want to keep buying them...I think I must have something wrong w/me...

Re: Does anyone miss...
I was so excited to buy them, but after about 6 months of them all being exactly the same, I kind of got sick of them.

Re: Does anyone miss...
I think most brides miss SOMETHING about wedding planning when the wedding is over...nothing wrong about that, it takes over our lives when we're planning lol!! For me I missed the wedding DIYs and anticipating the big day the most!!

Re: Does anyone miss...
I feel like I was addicted to them. There was such a thrill for the first few months. I couldnt wait to rip into them but after 8 months or so I got sick of seeing all the same stuff... and if something new did come out that I loved I couldnt change my plans anyway b/c it was too late at that point. I still get them in the mail but I wont look at them esp with the PWBS... lol.... But we went shopping on Sat and there were all the beautiful covers... And I just felt like... that was a really fun time. So no I dont think I miss them too much yet. lol

I actually didn't buy any... once I got engaged my friends/family bought them for me all the time.
I just gave a giant stack of them to one of my friends who got engaged.

I loved them and I still have a subscription to brides that should be ending soon. I just gave over 75 magazines to a girl who got engaged recently. Thank goodness!!!

Yep. My mom got me a subscription for 3 magazines and I have SO MANY all over the house. I was happy to throw them out. So many hideous dresses and stupid ideas.

I SOOO miss it!! Is it weird that i'll still buy them sometimes?!lol...Maybe because my wedding just passed less than a month ago, but I completely miss planning. I've thought about doing wedding planning on the side.

Well I know you can get certified, but not completely sure that is necessary at first. I am helping with one of my close frend's wedding and seeing how that goes for me. I guess the best thing to do would be to help friend's first and see if we really like it. I'm assuming its wayyy different planning someone elses wedding rather than our own.

So many hideous dresses and hair styles. I know its the whole high fashion thing but why do designers insist on having models look like slobs with hideous hair in their wedding dress. What bride is going to have hair like that?
