does anyone work/live in the bohemia area?

my job is moving... i'm starting at the new location TOMORROW.
i'm gonna be alone most of the day.. and i'm honestly.. nervous. i dont know what the area is like.. when I went to see this place a few weeks ago, I got a really weird vibe.
I told them I dont want to be alone, and if i am left alone.. i'm bringing in a weapon of my choice... he told me to just lock the door and i'll be fine. yea um. the door is MADE OF GLASS! if someone wanted to get in, they could

so honestly girls... how is bohemia? knickerbocker ave to be exact (just off vets hwy).

what kind of weapon should i bring?

I'm a Nassau girl...so I know nothing about the area. But I was sad to see nothing about liking oranges in the poll.

Although I do prefer clementimes

Not sure of the particular road you speak of but Bohemia is generally a nice area. I live in Suffolk and not once have i heard the town of Bohemia have a bad reputation of any sort. Good luck!

I work in Bohemia and it's a fine area. We have a glass door too and when I am alone here I just lock it. no worries...

although every single little noise makes me jump... but that would happen to be in the best of areas I'm just a jumpy person by nature

Ive never heard of it being bad, but I don't know Suffolk, but I've heard towns in Suffolk that have a bad rep, and I've never heard Bohemia included. I'm sure you'll be fine!

I used to go to school in bohemia, and I work in the town over its a good area. You shouldn't have any issues.

the current location is in Islandia.. which is about 3 blocks north of C.I. ..our van was robbed in broad day light i've had people walk in, use the bathroom and walk out.. with not one word said. and other weird things happen... and i'm only a few minutes away from bohemia.. i guess i'm just nervous in the area we're moving to, its really industrial. and we're in more of a commercial area.

thanks girls. i'll just buy some oranges tonight and keep them under my desk. i should practice my throwing skills tonight!

i should add i know exactly where you are talking about. it is very industrial.
i did business with company that just moved. I would always go there alone.
