I've had my ears pierced since I was three. I'm THIRTY. If I don't wear earrings to bed, the back of my ear holes close up every night and I have to re-poke them in the morning! W t f ?
i thought I was the only one...
Then my ears feel tender all day long.
Mine take about 2 days for that.. then they get very sore!

TMI, but do they get crusty? my ears are so sensitive and if i don't wear real gold they get really nasty and then they hurt for days after.
Only my second hole does this, which I got when I was 15. It actually may be closed now because I never liked how the second hole looks in my ear

Mine as well. I put neosporin on them at night sometimes, and it helps a little, but sometimes I can (gross) pull like a little disk of dry skin off of the ear hole...

mmm, yes this does happen, I would never have thought to ask this, I just thought it was another dumb thing happening to just me.
I used to have my cartilidge pierced in high school like on the upper part of my ear, and I HAD to always have something in it. i eventually got sick of it poking me in the head when I slept so I took it out. It closed quickly.
