Re: Does you DH
not as of yet- but he had mentioned that he would like to go away on 'boys-only' vacations. I am not crazy about it- because I like to spend our vacation time together, but if he decides to go away with the boys, I will probably plan a girls trip for that same time

DH goes out occasionally with the boys but they all have kids now so its not that often and they dont stay out late....i dont mind that.....
but DH does go away skiing for 4-5 days with some guys and that kinda bothers me cuz it costs a fortune and i worry about him everyday

Re: Does you DH
DH is going away to visit his cousin in california for a few days and i hate it. I trust him, I know there's no funny business but I hate being left alone in the house. I was invited to go but it's like a bachelor pad I really don't want to have to sleep there for 5 days, plus they're going skiing and my dad says jewish people don't ski

Re: Does you DH
DH will go out with his friends and stuff like that...as far as going away with friends it would depend on the situation...for example if a friend is getting married I'd expect he would go to the bach party..HOWEVER we dont do any parties that require airplane..we didnt do it for our own b-parties and we dont go for others...its more about if you do for one friend you do for all (and that gets $$$) than bc either of us would get mad. He went to Mohegan for my bro's b-party and AC for his.
Again it would depend he went away a cple years ago for his college Rubgy alumni...I could have gone but chose not to.
Just realized I didnt write how I felt about it before we lived together it didnt bother me too much bc it was only a cple times in the 5 years we were together,,,now that we live together I would feel lonely

Mine hasn't done that in a few yrs. He and his bf (BM) would go camping and paint balling for a weekend once a yr. Its not something I looked forward too. I miss him mostly, but I trust him.

I encourage DH to go out with the guys. He doesnt do it too often. For the most part usually just bachelor parties and fantasy team drafts - football and baseball. lol
DH used to bowl every tuesday night but stopped b/c it got boring. he does play softball every sunday morning but that may end too b/c his team mates sort of s()ck!

No not really, and I dont think he would... but he does hang out with 'the boys' once in a while to play poker or get a drink, or to see a band play...i dont mind it at all, gives me the opportunity to go out with my girls!

Re: Does you DH
Mine goes quadding / 4-wheeling about once a month. I am ok with it - I just don't like when he doesn't call me at least once a day (he always 'forgets' and I have no idea if he got there - it's in Pa - or when he is leaving to come home, etc). I like to have dinner with him at least on sunday when he goes, but usually he doesn't get home until 9 ...

Nope he hasn't since we've been together 3 years, except for his bachelore party. If he did I am not sure how I would feel about it...I would probably miss him lol

Re: Does you DH
i feel like dh and I are the only ones who don't like to do things without each other. I guess its cuz we are trying to save money and rarely go out (just to restaurants together, not bars or clubs), so i would be annoyed if he told me he was going out to bars and stuff with friends and i wasn't invited. If one of us is working then its different. I don't expect him to sit at home and wait for me, but i don't expect him to go out and drink all night either. As far as over night trips....no way! DH would look at me like i have 10 heads if i told him that i was going on vacation with friends! I'm not judging anyone who does this, but for me and dh, its not something we would do.

Re: Does you DH
yes - all his friends are from college and OOT. doesn't bother me at all, I do the same with my friends. I'm a firm believer in girls weekends, and it usually makes me miss him more when I'm gone. Once we have kids there will be very few weekends with the girls/guys for either of us, so I'm enjoying it now.

No, I feel the same way!! I feel like a nutcase. How can I tell him he can't go visit his cousin in CA which I was invited to and then be upset that he won't be home?? If you're crazy, I'll see you in the looney bin

Re: Does you DH
Never and I feel bad because I am always the one going away for the weekend. When we were dating/engaged every weekend we spent together...now that we're married I'm always going away w/friends. I feel bad but he doesn't mind..
