just wondering...dh says when you say it all the time it looses meaning; i get that. but damn how about once a month man!

we say it all the time. It doesn't lose meaning to me. Before bed, getting off the phone, before leaving for work.. I wouldn't change it for anything!

Thankfully, my DH says it almost as often as he tells me that I am driving him flipping nuts, so it tends to balance things out.

all the time!! but i couldnt really choose an answer from the poll bc it def doesnt make me wanna puke, lol. i love it. and it never loses meaning.
im thankful we're just like that. i can't imagine if we rarely, if ever, told each other how much we cared for each other.

same thing here....rather frequently.. It doesn't lose meaning - because it's never just an, i love you, that pizza's awesome... I can always hear how much he means it with his voice - ya know?

We always say I love you to each other and like a couple of the above posts says it never loses meaning for us. I never get tired of DH telling me that he loves me, it is the first thing that I hear in the morning and the last thing that I hear at night before I go to sleep.

Doesn't make me want to puke, but DH says it pretty much every time we talk on the phone during the day. Don't get tired of it and it does not lose its meaning for us. In fact, if we're ever annoyed with each other and he doesn't say I love you before we get off the phone, I miss it.
One thing I realized years ago is that I wanted to marry a man that said and showed me he loved me all the time. I want to be married for 10, 20, 50 years and still have DH say I love you all the time, hold my hand, sit next to me and cuddle, etc. Thankfully DH is like that. That is important to me, but everyone is different.

that's exactly how we are too. that's just how we are. we also do the random texting of I LOVE YOU, but my fave is when he's out w/ the boys, and calls in his drunken slur, 'Baby, i love you so much, i just had to tell you right now'. no matter how often we say it to each other, it's always special.

all the time i love it when he says it when we're laying in bed for our 5 minutes before we get up. he just holds me and says he loves me. i loveeeeeee it. and sometimes he says it in the middle of the night. i tell him everyday before he leaves the house. he tells me everymorning i make him lunch we tell each other before we fall asleep.
never looses meaning
you just never know what will cross your paths during the day

We both say it all day. Everytime we hang up the phone, everytime we leave eachother even its for an hour. My parents raised me to say it because you never know what could happen. And luckily I found someone who likes to say it just as much as I do.

My DH says it quite often - maybe couple x's a day But DEF 1once a day It doesn't make me want to puke though I love it
He is not mushy at all just sweet - that is the only thing that is mushy about him soo be it - I will take it!
He does txt me when I am having a really bad day and say..
'Will you Marry me' That is soo damn cute it makes my heart melt

My DH probably says it at least once a day.
I never get tired of it and it never makes me want to puke.
I can understand how it would though if they just said it continuously all day long though.

DH says it a lot. Almost once a day. Sometimes he even writes it on a post it note so I see it when I get ready in the morning (he's sleeping at that point). One time he wrote it in the mirror with the steam from the shower. It was too & made me .
