Don't want to sound like an ungrateful brat, but...

I think I might decline my 'won' prize from yesterday. After some correspondance, I've been informed that I will in fact have to trash my dress, and that it can be just me, not me and DH...so not really a day after at all.

I'm going to give it a little more thought, but I'm leaning towards just doing the Inkuphoto one instead. I really don't want to sound ungrateful, because I know you girls did such hard work to get these prizes, and I feel terrible if this was a bait and switch or something, but since I really wanted to do something with DH to make up for, among other things, not being able to have outdoor pictures...I guess this just won't work for us.

I actually just got an email from inku asking about the prices...Has anyone else gotten response back? Its $500 for the cd of proofs or $150 per picture or something like that. I have the email at home. His work looks beautiful!! But I just dont know if I can swing that much

Sorry Correction...Prints are actually relatively cheap.. If u don't want the CD, individual digital files were $150 a piece.

why don't you get a different white dress and trash that one? didn't someone else do that? get a fun dress from like davids bridal when they do that $99 sale and trash the crap out of that one! but i don't love that its you alone. BOO!

That's why I'm still debating it...but couple that with having to most likely travel to Yonkers equals double BOO. My luck I'll probably run in to ex college DB in a wedding dress on the streets...because that wouldn't be awkward.

I'm waiting on one more clarification email...these BB two word answer emails are getting tedious. Because if we have to travel so far to take the pics...pay for the pictures...an pay to include him...it becomes not worth it for us. I need to go and have a good cry and come to terms with having a shiz azz day for weather for my real wedding and accept my real pictures for what they are and move on with my life lol.

hmmm I should find out about my shoot before I get all excited.

Yeah, maybe...the box and the card said Day After though, so that's what I thought...but her actual certificate says TTD, so I guess probably just a communication breakdown somewhere along the lines...I was hoping for some flexibility, but it doesn't appear that that's going to happen, so we'll see now.

Did anyone win multiple day afters? I thought no one could have. At first it was only one photog prize per person. Then for the ones where we couldn't select a winner we put them to the side for later.

At the end we did a raffle for all the non baby type photo sessions and auctioned it off to all the girls who didn't win any photog session. So to be fair and give them a chance. That depleted all the extra photog sessions (non baby).

then we took the preggos and auctioned off the baby related ones and with the left overs we opened it to anyone.

So from my recollection, no one should have won more than one non baby photo one.

Am I crazy? Maybe I am wrong on how we did it?

I MIGHT be interested in trading. I still did not contact my vendor yet but when I do I will let you know how it goes. I was really excited about working with my particular vendor but being that I live in Westchester, if the expiration date is close by it might not be feasible for me.
