I think I might decline my 'won' prize from yesterday. After some correspondance, I've been informed that I will in fact have to trash my dress, and that it can be just me, not me and DH...so not really a day after at all.
I'm going to give it a little more thought, but I'm leaning towards just doing the Inkuphoto one instead. I really don't want to sound ungrateful, because I know you girls did such hard work to get these prizes, and I feel terrible if this was a bait and switch or something, but since I really wanted to do something with DH to make up for, among other things, not being able to have outdoor pictures...I guess this just won't work for us.

Did anyone win multiple day afters? I thought no one could have. At first it was only one photog prize per person. Then for the ones where we couldn't select a winner we put them to the side for later.
At the end we did a raffle for all the non baby type photo sessions and auctioned it off to all the girls who didn't win any photog session. So to be fair and give them a chance. That depleted all the extra photog sessions (non baby).
then we took the preggos and auctioned off the baby related ones and with the left overs we opened it to anyone.
So from my recollection, no one should have won more than one non baby photo one.
Am I crazy? Maybe I am wrong on how we did it?
I did not realize that the auction was for all non-winners...I thought maybe someone had 2.

I MIGHT be interested in trading. I still did not contact my vendor yet but when I do I will let you know how it goes. I was really excited about working with my particular vendor but being that I live in Westchester, if the expiration date is close by it might not be feasible for me.
What did you end up winning Nikki?
I won a Patken day after shoot. I am SO excited about it but since I can't drive to L.I. it is going to be super hard for me. I wanted to do one trash the dress and one day after with the two prizes we got if that's possible so I would be fine with doing the one person shoot.

Honestly, the impression I got was no substitutions. I mean, if I was told no, I HAD to trash ym dress and be by myself...I doubt anything else could be swapped in.

Sorry to hear this Ali. Can't they maybe make an exception bc you are part of LIW? Don't they realize you are going to post your experience with them on the boards??? I would try to call them and see if you can get the owner or someone higher upin the company on the phone. Everything is negociable, or should be anyway~!!!

they're not toooo bad...but still a lil pricey when you think about the fact that you can get a 4x6 printed for maybe 18 cents....
The prints are a little on the high side, but the Gallery wraps are way cheaper than what my photog was charging.
Btw, thanks for the prices. I'm giving mine to my friend because she's not having a photographer at all for her wedding. I know she'll probably just order some portraits for her and their family. So I'm going to send this along to her.

Its the newborn shoot- september blue (But i heard she may be super busy)
and the family shoot in central park I cant remember the photog now though :(
