Dress opinions please

So I just got this dress to wear to DH's friend's wedding. The wedding is a Saturday night at the Pleasantdale Chateau in NJ. This is a VERY nice place I think. The dress actually looks fancier in person. I am going to dress it up by wearing these shoes, and possibly this clutch (in black). I am also going to wear my wedding earrings and bracelet. WDYT? Is it dressy enough? I like this dress because it is versitile and I can wear it to many other occassions. Opinions please!

The invite says Black Tie Invited. NO idea what that means. Dh is not wearing a Tux.

I loooooove the shoes and I looooove the bag.
The dress is nice but IMO doesn't look fancy enough.

Funny...it really doesn't look fancy in the pictures, but it looks more fancy in person. It is a satin material. I feel like with all the accessories...it will look pretty fancy.

It is a satin material.

NEVERMIND.....I thought it was like summer dress material. you should be fine with the satin.

Black tie invited means they are trying to dress up the wedding without mandating that it be black tie. I'd usually wear a long gown to a black tie invited affair.

If this dress is fancy, then I'd say you're ok. Your husband should wear a dark suit.

To me Black tie means.. dress fancy.

not necessarily that you expect all the men to be in a tux but they can wear one because it's fancy.

I wore a similar dress to a black tie affair... it was my eparty dress actually and it was fine. i think this dress is just fine for a black tie event. And that was a black tie mandatory event (it was a cancer event at Carlyle on the Green where by brother inlaw was being honored for his achievements with colon cancer - he's a dr).

i think u r going to look smoking hot

that bag is to die for!!!!!
