I just changed my license when I want. My lease was due to be up a few months later and I didn't want things to get lost in the shuffle with the leasing company. When I leased my new car, I used my married name.

I just changed my license because DH and I only have one car and it's in his name.

ummmmmmm... DH changed his address on his license (went down there because it was expiring) and FORGOT to change the address on his registration (which he just informed me of this morning). Now I'm going through the DMV website to see how to change it JUST on the registration and not his license.

I just changed my Liscense...I didnt have the paperwork for the Reggie and Title. I eventually will get that done. That and the new passport are my two last things I need to change.

I did both while I was there, it was just easier then having to make another trip to the DMV.

I didn't change my registration and title at the same time because I didn't have my lien release yet, and I didn't have insurance in my own name yet. I just changed them last week. It's not bad, provided that you have proof of insurance, which I didn't have the first time and got sent away. Annoying.
