Re: Easter desserts
I’ve been making Jello pie for many, many years and it is always a huge hit! It’s very light, and a perfect spring/summer treat.
1 pkg. of any flavor Jello (my family is partial to lemon… comes out like lemon meringue!) 1 ready made pie crust 2/3 c. boiling water 2 cups of ice cubes 1 container of cool whip (I use reduced fat)
Empty jello powder into a large bowl. Boil some water and pour 2/3 of a cup into the power. Mix until powder is dissolved. Add 2 cups of ice into the bowl and stir until the mixture starts to become a little jellied. Remove all pieces of ice. Mix in the entire container of cool whip until smooth. Pour into pie crust and refrigerate at least 3 hours before serving. Delicious, and so easy!!
