Estimated Christmas / Holiday spending on hubby?

Just ordered mine... gulp...it was expensive. Close to $400. Giving me chest pains but it was a whole set of stuff that he has been asking for for a while.

Re: Estimated Christmas / Holiday spending on hubby?

I went past my budget, too. I think that tends to happen when I start shopping so early in the season. I just keep buying things here and there, and when it's all over, I can't believe what I've spent!!

Re: Estimated Christmas / Holiday spending on hubby?

We are buying lots of stuff for the house this year and keep calling it our Christmas presents. Daybeding, daybed frame, artwork, windows and siding, a roof, fun, right? lol So this year we are going to buy a treadmill for Christmas and keep all other gifts for each other around $100....to much to buy for the house so we don't need a $$ Christmas.

I was keeping it at $250...until DH mentioned that he really really wanted a new guitar (he already has about 10...but he lent his brother his classical guitar and his nephew cracked it )

so he has told me it is going to be under $1000!!!! what!!! well that will be listed as a xmas present...

We are trying to keep it around $500. I am getting close but I just have some stocking stuffers left to get.
