Extra Gifts???? What would you do?

So- I was prepared for the 'stiffers' and had so much fun didn't care in the least.
Good thing, we didn't have any 'stiffers' at the wedding. What we DO have is EXTRA envelopes!!!! We've got 3 enevlopes that had cash in them that are NOT SIGNED??? Who would not sign the card?
Every single person at the wedding is accounted for a gift, so it's not like I can match these up to anyone either- what to do?

Michele, have you coutned the groom's men too? DH's friends did that (sort of) and they even used the wedding hall's envelope to put the $ in

Or perhaps you had some family who couldn't make it but passed along some $$$

The Groomsmen are accounted for- but maybe? Wouldn't be MY family though-

Should we ask our parents to ask?? I'm stumped as to what to do?

At mine, there were some extra envelopes that someone brought along in behalf of another guest who couldn't come.
Maybe that's what happenned?

I know my mother in law told me that it was an old tradition that if you went around to vist everyones table they gave you a second envelope. So that is why she told me to make sure to go around to all of my fiances family, even though I plan to go around to everyone.

I would just make sure to send TY's to everyone thanking them for their generous gift and enjoy it!

We had one envelope like that too.
We figured out it was my cousin.

I've heard about people giving extra money when they already sealed their card and realized that the wedding probably costed a lot or felt that their gift wasn't enough.
