on LIF, are there boards that you just lurk on? I like the pregnancy board. I think its so exciting!!! Cant wait to post on there someday.

Ehhhh it is odd, but I lurk on parenting. LOL I don't plan on having kids, but I have little sisters 6 and 11 years old, that I do a lot with.

I like to lurk on the 'relationship' and the 'families w. no children' --> did you ever read that one? Some of those ladies really vent on people w. kids. LOL .

i used to really lurk on the TTC board, but not so much anymore
preggo board so i can see all the bellies!! lol

Me too! Also, just started to post on the newlyweds board but have lurked on the other ones too and I dont like it. They are annoying (the people). I just want to shut them all up. They are to much for me

I lurk on Pregnancy board. It is bad too becuase it makes me want a child even more now and DH and I are not ready yet prob not for another 3 yrs.

um, we don't vent on people with kids, we vent about how INSENSITIVE people can be with our childless status. Some of us are childless by choice, some not by choice, others are just not ready for children yet. I'm childless not by choice, so I don't need to be lectured on the joys of parenting and how my life would be so complete with children. Just stab me in the heart, the pain is the same.

ohh i totally lurk on pregnancy - one night DH and i were looking on there and we kept looking at people's albums to see their belly pics and baby pics.....i was like babe - W-T-F are we doing?!?!?
but i totally lurk on ttc and pregnancy and its no secret....
i also go on the home board but its kind of slow.....i found a site called gardenweb.com and they have a home section with forums broken down by category: bathroom ,kitchen, painting, etc. and i LOVE it - i am addicted to that site! lots of DIYers with great ideas - i cant wait to get a house - that site will become VERY useful!....

I post on there all the time. What the board is for is to express our selves, as people who by choice or not are not having children. Yea there is venting, but then again there is a lot of venting on all boards. There are PLENTY of boards for people with kids or TTC so I think it is nice to have it.
