Hi! sorry to crash...but I thought you girls would be able to help me the most! I just got a call from my reception hall to schedule the final meeting.
How close to the wedding date should this meeting be....and what did you prepare to give them or to go over with them at the meeting?

you give them the final check, the final headcount, confirm the menu and all the set-up details, including contact info for all vendors (florist, DJ, bakery)
ask them when the DJ/band, and other vendors can set-up. I went into detail about the timeline of the day, and the details of the decorations that the hall employees are responsible for setting-up.

You would usually meet with them a couple of weeks before the wedding to finalize everything and of course final payment is due.

I met with them about 2 weeks before the wedding to go over the final paperwork with them and I called in the headcount about 2 weeks before.. and the WEEK of the wedding I went there to drop everything off to them.. Everyone at WM was FABULOUS!!! I hope you have Yesenia and Sandra as your Maitre'D and Bridal Attendant.. they were phenomenal!!!!
