we went to brunch at the garden city hotel and dinner at the parkside and bought a dining room set for our new house. we are going to greece in june so that will be our present to each other

we went to dinner and saw a broadway show. not too exciting, but that's what we both wanted

For our first we went to vegas...We bought a disney timeshare as our gift to each other...we considered the contract the paper...LOL

I gave him a card and a lotto ticket... lol...
We were also in the process of packing to move to Florida, and his mom was on the verge of passing away.... We promised each other this year would be better.

We didn't do a trip either - we had too many other things going on at the time!
We stuck to traditional paper gifts and we went out to dinner at our favorite restaurant.
We decided that we'd like to try and do the traditional gifts every year and see how creative we can get.

My nephew's christening is on the 20th, so we're going to be visiting NY for our anniversary. cool that we'll be where we had gotten married (and because, as DH says, we'll be where the top tier of our cake is! ) but we'll be staying with my parents, so don't think we'll be having a very romantic anniversary night
