I think we have had a post like this before but now that it is getting closer (or passed) what did/are you doing for your first anniversary?

Ugh I am going crazy trying to find something really nice and romantic. DH hates B&B so he wants a hotel but I want it to be romantic. Any ideas within a 5 hour radius on NYC please let me know.
MY DH is the same way he won't stay at a B&B. This is exactly what we are doing! We are going for 3 days to this romantic place in NH. I think it is around 6 hours. They have so many activities and candlelite dinner for 2 is included as well as a massage. The rooms come with a fireplace and jacuzzi.

we are taking a trip -- i'm hoping we will each buy eachother something while we are away that will remind us of our trip and our first anniv.
i guess first anniv is paper so our plane tickets will count?

DH and i are going to a B and B in Newport RI for our anniversary in June. I'm not sure about gifts although I am sure i'll get him somthing...I'm not sure what though...

I wanted to do day after pics but not sure now
DH said he wants to eat at La Bernardin, which i have no complaints about and would love to do that. He said a 1st anniversary happens just once so why not.
He also mentioned that blue hill or is it blue point place lol im drawing a blank right now.
ETA: however, i think i would prefer to do a trip, just not sure where
