Yeah so I attempted to go to work this morning and spun out, then 2 more cars spun out as well further up the road, so I decided to go home. I can't work from home so I have to take a personal day!
I HATE THIS WEATHER!!!! Who's with me?

I just got my SUNY text alert that Farmingdale is closed till noon so no work till then for me - but if this doesn't switch to rain by 11 I am thinking work is closed.

It was not a fun drive for me either this morning. The plows were just starting to appear when I was almost at work.

I was sick at work yesterday so I took a sick day today. so I do not have to go out, we got a lot of ice here. my car is covered, I am actually very happy I do not have to go out.

I have a 1:30pm interview in Melville, they aren't opening until 11am. I have a feeling it might be reshceduled...I kinda hope it does get rescheduled.
Be careful out there ladies...this weather is so annoying from snow to sleet then rain...UGH!

It is kind of weird.. but I rather have a HUGE storm where no one can go out,,, then these weekly 'disturbances'! LOL.. I want mounds of snow!!

I HATE IT! I'm originally from Cali, so when I was younger snow was awesome! Now that I have to drive in it, Not so much. I want to move back to a warmer climate

Excellent way of putting it...Weekly disturbances. I had to walk 1/2 mile from the LIRR station b/c our shuttles weren't there. i waited 5 minutes and thought to myself 'i'm standing here getting wet anyway, why not just walk, so i did'
of course my yogurt opened in my bag during my travels - EEEWWWWWWW

yikes- glad you are ok! getting to work was crazy- LI didnt salt or plow by my job- even Queens was pretty bad and usually its ok
