Re: For anyone who hasnt left the house yet
Thanks Celia! It is SO icy out! I almost fell walking to my car and to my office. The roads are ALL black ice so be EXTRA careful driving, I didn't go over 30MPH coming here.

Ugh.. its a disaster! Trains are a mess. Train station was an ice skating rink. Not so much for my car, but I almost fell like 5 times walking VERY carefully.

Walking is horrible! I was sliding all over the place. It took me almost 15 minutes to walk 3 blocks

Re: For anyone who hasnt left the house yet
i just walked the dog (but only within like 50 feet of my building) and the sidewalks were icy but getting shoveled. the roads *seemed* ok, at least better than what i hear it was earliermy boss told me to wait a bit and head in late. i have a conference call at 10 so i think i may do that from home and then go in

Honestly, if I had any idea how bad it was before I left my house, I wouldn't have come into work. Please everyone be careful!

I'm debating whether or not to go into work today....I dont have to be in until 1:30. Just not sure if its worth the risk to drive in this!

Re: For anyone who hasnt left the house yet
when I went out to start my suv there was ice everywhere. i bashed my freaking knee when i was getting out and was limping... limping on ice is not fun.but then the rain started to pick up and when i left for work it wasn't as bad. my drive to work was okay. i didn't have any problems, and i got to work 30min early (thanks to DH
