For Brides who used Duet(repost from BHB) Update 12/7-We booked!

Figured best to ask the ones who are all set and done with their weddings and get some expert advice....I am going to meet with them on Sat and since this will be my 1st photographer that I will be meeting, any questions I should be asking or suggestions as what to look for. I have seen all their work from the LIW brides and I think its exactly what I am looking for.
So thank you Duet brides for posting all your beautiful pics.

I am going to be clueless walking in there..so any info would help. I did get one suggestion...Proofs on a cd. I like that one

Also, how was their quality of video. I am having major decision issue since the one videographer I want is $2500!
It would put a dent in the fund but it is good. I rather cut that cost but dont want to make wrong decision.

They were the 3rd photographer we looked at and I thought they did a great job presenting their packages and explaining everything.

We picked up our proofs a couple of weeks ago and OMG! I cried while looking at all 800 of them!! I haven't gotten my video yet but I'm sure it will be equally as good.

I enjoyed working with them leading up to my wedding but the day of sealed the deal for me that they were worth every penny (even though they were so reasonable). They were very unobtrusive yet captured so much of the many emotions of the day. I didn't even remember them taking half of the shots they took. I loved that while DH and I were dancing our first dance and when I was dancing with my Dad they didn't interrupt us to get posed pics.

I'm going to be posting some proofs soon on BHB and Newlywed so keep your eye out for more of their work.

Nicole and Eric were wonderful. Some of my guests were complimenting them the day of the wedding and they didn't even see the pictures!

I thought they were excellent, and i am still getting feedback from our guests saying how wonderful they were.
We got back our proofs exactly at 4 weeks, and the pictures are really great!! Our thank you's were ready so quickly..
They showed up right on time in the morning and were with us for a total of 12 hours..they were wonderful!
now i just cant wait to get the video!!

Well, I'm a groom, but I figure I can answer.

They were EXCELLENT! We hardly even knew they were there. The pictures (from both our casual shots and our wedding) made us look like models (Felicia's beautiful, but I sure am not model material!)

They were extremely friendly and set up the 'posed' shots perfectly. On the candid shots, you'd think they were staged because they know exactly when to take the shots.

I give them 12 out of 10!

Thank you all for your responses! Thanks to Anthony the groom as well.....didnt mean to single you out there with the, 'for Brides'

I was very happy to see how their work was exactly what I was looking for! FH was happy too!

There was a couple there who was picking out their photos for their album and she actually yelled out , 'if you are deciding whether to go with them....YOU SHOULD! They are awesome!! Then her husband agreed!

Very funny and well, we did!!!
