for those of you who aren't changing your names...
will you just put your return address label on your thank yous with just your name or will you write mr & mrs ___ or will you get new return address lables with mr & mrs _____ anyway (even if you aren't legally his last name)?

i guess im on the fence about it; everyone assumes you're 'Mrs___' anyway but I don't want to reinforce it since it's not my name.
then again the thank you is also from him so, i'm just not sure how we'll address them

I did return labels 'Mr. & Mrs. D' even though that's not legally my name. I think people like to see it...most people assume you're Mrs. Whatever anyway so what's the harm
i did the same thing. it's much easier that way.

I made sure my labels said K. Bxxxxxx & B. Pxxxxxx because i am tired of people assuming i took DH's name after telling them 'NO, i am not changing my name'...hopefully this will reinforce the fact that we were never introduced as Mr & Mrs P. at our wedding..hahah
Although both FIL & MIL keep sending us mail as Mr & Mrs...even my own mom asked 'Would you be mad if i addressed your Christmas card Mr & Mrs even though you kept your name???'...no i won't be mad, but what's wrong with using my name?????

omg that is too crazy; my mom is also mystified that i didnt change my name. i dont mind getting mail from people writing mr and mrs and even if i do both names on the return address i think people STILL wont get it and i'm sure they will STILL write mr and mrs just cause they dont pay attention!

That's what we did as well...
I also ocassionally get mail from relatives with DH's last name..Poeple just don;t seem to get the whole I didn't change my name, I'm NEVER changing my name thing
