For those who look a lot younger than they are...

Happens all the time. I'm 4'11 and going to be 30 on Monday. Everyone thinks I'm a teenager! What's even funnier is DH is 15 years older then me! He looks young too but we do get those what the hell kinda looks on occasion.

How can some of you ladies think it is annoying when others think you're younger?? Would you rather people say, 'Oh..you're 30? yeah..you look it.'

Happens to me sometimes..and I love it.
I also act like a kid..so that helps; i don't care..i admit it.

hahaha It can def. be annoying!! For one thing, strangers dont take you seriously when they think you are 17. Theres a lack of level of respect when people treat you like you are a teenager SOLEY based on how young you look. Meanwhile I have every burden and responsibility of a 30 year old and then some. Not cute. Not fun. Annoying.

Secondly, who wants to be carded every single time they go to buy cigarettes, followed by the 3 minute long very predictable conversation by the cashier about how old you are. it gets old very quick.

Thirdly, it really ***** *** when you go out for a drink and you are the only one the watiress stops for and asks for your ID and then studies it for god knows how long b/c she cant believe you are 29.

I guess I can see that..but I know when I'm 50 and feeling old..i may actually miss the construction workers whistling at me and people thinking i'm younger. Love it ladies!!

i get it allllll the time

but i get IDd for R-Rated movies too...and tattoos.....and lotto.

its true, i do prefer ppl thinking im younger rather than older, id be more upset about that.

Only time its annoying when ppl dont take you seriously bc of it. OR for me when i go to buy cigs and i dont have ID on me, but theres always a store nearby i can get it from so not a big deal

but when im out and go to a bar or club and i get id i dont mind. Like you said, i rather them think im younger rather than the fact that im almost 30. I know when they stop asking me for Id, ill start missing it and wish they would

LOL that happened to me too, except they thought it was for my prom. however, ever since i cut my hair short and dyed it almost black, i haven't even gotten carded!! it's amazing what some scissors and a little hair dye can do!

sometimes people think i am a teenager
it most commonly happens at work - a lot of my students think im 18 or 19 years old but then again i get kids who think im as old as 78

When they stop asking me for ID at the club, thats how I know its time for my a$$ to stop going!!

Haha I definately know how you feel!!! One time, a friend of mine had a psychic party. I went to the party right after a root canal, so I know I was talking kind of funny. So I said to the psychic, 'Sorry if I'm talking funny, I just had a root canal'. The psychic said, 'How old are you that you needed a root canal?' I said 28...he said you look like you're 18...I said if you were a GOOD psychic you would've known how old I am!!

Yes sometimes people think im like 16...umm what?! I may look young but not 16

And at times people dont believe that Im married...like when i say im waiting for my husband...theyre like huh? hOW OLD ARE YOU? i want to say none of your bsuiness. But I am younger than most married couples (im 22) so I guess thats why i get these kindve of responses.

I get that a lot too. But the thing is I have twin 10yr old boys also so I always get you have kid's' you look like your 16. Then the best is when they ask how old the kids are when I tell them, they look like they are gonna hit the floor.
Some cute things said to me by my kids friends was 'your so lucky your older sister drives'
Then I was at the store and one of them was kissing me and the guy behind the counter says 'oh look how much he loves his sister'. My kids get a kick outta this now.

i still get carded to buy lotto, or scratch off's..
i will be 30 and people think i am 16.. seriously!

i got looks when i was trying on my wedding dress, and when i was going to the docs office when i was pregnant
