Get me to Long Island!
I live in Jersey City and the snow is really coming down. I'm working from home today and have the flexibility to set out for LI whenever I want.DH is away at school this weekend so I am packing up the kitten and heading to LI for some good ol time at home with my parents!
What do you girls suggest?

it's pretty light over here in uniondale now .... plus, nothing is sticking (thank God) ... i think you're good regardless of when you leavebe safe and have fun

get your rear in the car and start driving.if you wait too long then you're going to hit all the traffic, esp if people freak and head home early.
i think noon-1:30 is a good time to be on the road.

I said you should leave now. The snow isn't THAT bad BUT you have to remember drivers around you. Even a flurry and every becomes stupid behind the wheel.

oooooohhhhh, fantastic idea!!I may have to pick up my brother's puppy in Astoria so this could work!!
It will then be Slash, Shea and I in the car. Shea is a 6 month of black lab/pit mutt and she's a doll but should be fun to see how she does with a kitten in the car! So I'll be a mobile zoo in the snow.
