Gift Question

Hello my new newlywed friends, I need your help!

DH's roomie from college is getting married in a different state... they came to our wedding and got us a crystal pitcher ($40 value) so now we have their wedding coming up, and we aren't going to give money... their registry is super limited, so i was wondering if any of you got gifts that you didnt register for that you absolutely loved?? Im stumped for a gift idea, and I dont want to give a $50 giftcard or cash...

thanks!!

Re: Gift Question

Did they register for china but not all of the pattern? If so, I would get them something from their pattern like a serving plate or sugar and creamer. One thing we received that we did not register for was a waterford clock. It was really nice and we have it on our mantel. Doy you know where they are going on their HM? Could you give them an activity or meal at one of their resorts?

Check out Things Remembered - we gave friends a blanket with their names/wedding date embroidered on it, and they've told us its one of their favorite gifts - they keep it on the couch in their living room.

Re: Gift Question

We only got a couple of gifts for our wedding. Ones I loved:

our canister sent filled with candy and the poem of how to survive marriage along with a recipe book with the cover saying the poem recipe for marriage.

For our engagement party we got a frame personalized from things remembered that I love

If they celebrate Christmas, you can see if they need a Nativity set. I received the Precious Moments Mini-Nativity set as a shower gift and it's one of my favorites.
