Just going through some personal stuff now and can't get into this situation at the moment. But they are working with me.

i didn't think they would be this shady!!!
The thing is... the woman I met with initially told me to wait on the parent albums or make them myself to save money!! She asked if we were paying for the photog and stuff ourselves when we couldn't decide if we should add the parent albums to the package (for money reasons). So here I am now with a disk that I can't do anything with.

Well at least I shouldn't have to resize ANY of the images to post on LIW. They are small enough and a low enough resolution to begin with.

They did the entire shoot only to find out the next day that there were no pictures on the camera!

well my e pics were also another story.

I got pics that say proof all over them. Another bunch of pics to do NOTHING with! I can't even frame the ones I received. WHAT IS THE POINT OF THAT GLENMAR?????

IMO it's just another way to steal a buck!!!

That is just terrible. I wanted to cry reading your post. I cant believe that these companies can actually do stuff like this & expect people/customers to really be 'happy' with the final product.

silver lining: there were a lot of people at your wedding who did take BEAUTIFUL pics - and if worst came to worst I am sure you can use those. You really looked amazing, I am still drooling over your shoes, dress & cake... makes me wish I had done a 'winter' wedding!

I hope everything works out ok when you call them though!!!

the pics from other are very nice... don't get me wrong. But they are very grainy and foggy... and just not good enough quality for an album like that. Plus the pro pix REALLY came out good! Even though ALL my family shots are infront of a streaky mirror....but I figured the could at least be touched up. they should at least fix that. But at this point... who knows!

It's awful when companies pull this stuff!!! I don't think they knew I was a LIW bride either. I don't think they are a vendor on here.... but LIW brides have the ability to get to MANY brides with their experiences.

awful.. absolutely awful!!!

Can you go back to your contract and tell them exactly what was promised? At least you'd have some sort of piece of mind telling them that this is what they legally agreed to do for you.

the purchase of the disk was done after, as was the website thing.

The engagement shoot is on my contract.... but it doesn't state you get an envelope full of pictures that say proof all over them and you can't do sh*t with them!!!

I do have the voicemail stating that ALL my pictures are posted online. But then they posted maybe 10% of the pics... and the ones they posted are sooo awful that when i came home from my HM and looked at them I CRIED!!!! I couldn't believe that was ALL my pictures and judging from how bad the posted ones were I almost didn't even want to see what the rest would look like. You would think IF they were going to post 10% of the pictures taken they would at least post the BEST OF THE BEST!! I mean I PAID FOR THIS SERVICE.... WHAT DID I PAY FOR?? TO SEE CRAP HOLE PICS THAT BROUGHT ME TO TEARS LITERALLY WITHIN DAYS OF COMING HOME FROM MY HM!!!!

With the website they mailed me a letter stating that the new thing they do is post them online and for a fee of $50 they will post the pictures from the wedding online. I paid and did it. They got my money... they owe me the goods for it.

the disk I purchased over the phone when we spoke about the lacking website pictures. Nothing was stated that it would be LOW RESOLUTION or JUST 4x7 pics that you can't do anything with. AGAIN I ask myself... WHAT AM I PAYING FOR??????????????

i can ask my sister if there is anything she can do with a low res disk of 4x7s, she is a photog and may be able to do something..ill ask if you don't get anywhere with these jerkos
