Greetings from Mystic, CT

having a wonderful time in Mysitc , Ct for our first anniversary! I just had to get online when I saw a computer in the hotel. Today we went to the aquarium, and yesterday to the seaport. It is so nice here! The hotel is beautiful too. If anyone is interested in going away for a weekend, I highly recommend this place!

Re: Greetings from Mystic, CT

Where are you staying? Danielle and I stayed at the Steam boat inn last month. We went to the aquarium, the seaport, and old mystik. We also went to mohegan.

If you want to go to a really yummy place for dinner, We recommend the Daniel Packer inn in Mystic. They had the most yummy salad....and their food was really good....expensive but good.....Don't forget to go to Mystic Pizza...

Re: Greetings from Mystic, CT

Hi! We are staying at The Whaler's Inn.
Yes, we went to The Daniel Packard Inn. It was so nice and yummy salad etc. We had a hard time finding any place open tonite becuase it is Easter. We ended up at Foxwoods and ate there. We passed a place that had an all u can eat for 62.95! INSANITY! Nothing is worth that for a buffet. We did okay in the casino, I won 55.00 and DH won 42.00.

Re: Greetings from Mystic, CT

Yeah the whalers inn is the sister inn of the steam boat inn...If you look across the water, you can see the steam boat inn...you may even be able to see it from where you are staying....How is the whalers inn? I was looking into that place before I booked the steamboat inn.

There is a good pub in the town, actually right on the street in front of the Steam boat inn. We had lunch there one day and dinner there another day....They had a yummy burger called the obrien burger. It had onions, mushrooms, mozzerella, and Mashed potato on it....WOW that was sooo good.

There is also a really good coffee house in the town...Bartlebees I think it is called. It is near Mystic Pizza.

How long are you staying there? Enjoy yourselves...and get off the computer.
