If people need rides from the train station or something, the PrincessRoseMobile is willing to make stops. DH and I both work near the Hicksville station, and I have no problem driving around a bit (BelleEpoque, that's directed at you - I totally know what it feels like to not have a car!!)

That's so sweet for the offer! I live and work in NYC, so getting out to LI on Friday night is hard for me. Plus we may have to go up to Westchester that night to see DH's sister.

From what I just read through on the thread this is the group for the 22nd. If it gets changed to the 24th, i'm sure that's going to change a bit.

I feel like a dunce - I just asked about a Nassau GTG and here it was all along! Silly me! Well, The 22nd is the day we are picking up our puppy, so as much as I'd love to, I really wouldn't be able to make it this time. We'll need to keep planning these though!

lets do a final headcount for the gtg on 10/22 so we can make reservations and what time i know some people wanted late and some eary? is 7 as a compromise good?

Aww ladies, you don't know how much I really wanted to meet you all. I truly wish I could make this GTG.. but unfort I have no way to get home from LI that evening, and 7pm would probably be too early for me to get from work in NYC out to LI anyhow
