Hairspray
Okay, if you've seen my response to the favorite beauty products thread .. you'll notice I have a bunch of favorites .. but one thing I am having absolutely no luck with is hairspray. I just can't find a hairspray I love .. just ones that I can tolerate, barely. Once I get my hair the way I like it, and spray lightly, it just never seems to stay in place. Now, I don't want helmut head, but I would like the fullness to stay .. and that's another problem .. I find too many hairsprays weigh my hair down.Any suggestions??
My hair type is curly, but my hair is not thick. It's a dark blonde, light brown .. so I hate a hairspray that makes my hair dull or darker than it really is.
I want a hairspray that will hold, but I don't want to feel the spray just sitting there on my hair, and I hate the sticky feeling .. or spray that makes hair look dried out.
The latest brands I've been using are:
Pantene Elastesse
ABBA Zeroscent
And one final request .. I prefer pumps over aerosol sprays.

Re: Hairspray
I dont use hair spray all that often, but when I go curly, I use a spray gel Loreal pumping spray, or Redken. It holds my hair in place pretty good.

Re: Hairspray
I've used just about every hairspray out there, from salon brands to grocery store specials, and my favorites thus far are Suave Naturals and Pantene Elastesse (sp?).

Like Jennrenee I try everything under the sun ($ to $$$). I like Finesse in the pump but lately I have been having a hard time tryin to find it.

Re: Hairspray
I only have a small bottle of hairspray - I hardly use it - but it's Biolage. It's not sticky and I think it holds relatively well, but I don't use it to often and more for a natural look -- so within 15 minutes, my hands are through my hair anyway!

Re: Hairspray
like cira - i hardly use it but if you dont like that it darkens your hair, how about that 'sheer blonde' line of products. supposedly it is meant for that - :)

Re: Hairspray
I use the Aussie Scrunch Spray. You need to use it lightly because if too much it can be very sticky. I do a light spray in the am, and don't touch my hair the rest of the day. I have been using it for years.I used to like the Suave one, but they changed it and it's not good anymore (jmo)
