Ok, so I was driving to work this morning and I cut someone off. (I've felt bad about it all morning). I don't know if she was going faster then I thought or if my car just didn't move as quickly as I wanted it to. But, after I cut her off she honked and did hand gestures. So I said sorry and waved my hands....which now that I think about it, she could have thought I was yelling back at her.
After a few blocks she cut me off and when we stopped at a light continued with her hand movements....I did nothing.
So, my question is.....what is the proper hand gesture to apologize when you screw up on the road?

Some guy honked at me, because i wouldnt merge into oncoming traffic, There was a bus coming and i didnt feel like getting killed.
Well he honked and flipped out cut around me and raced ahead of me almost killing himself. As he was doing this i was flipping out in my car, and yelling through my rear view mirror and giving the finger to him.
Well i finally have the all clear and there is a red light up ahead and he is right there, and i look over and i have my window rolled up but i mouthed to him wow look where it got you.
Well this guy flipped out, he blocked me in on merrick road in merrick, so i could not go striaght, i was in the left lane. And got out of his car and was trying to get me out of hte car, I have never in my life been so scared, if he had a gun i would be dead right now.
He was a normal looking guy in a dress shirt and slacks
Wow that is SO scary! DH loves to play games with the d!cks on the road. I mean, he won't do it out of nowhere, and he'd never do something like that guy did to you, but like, if someone is driving in the left lane and going like 50, DH will make it a point to fly around them, get in front of them and drop his speed down, or slam the brakes just to p!ss them off. Although technically, the left lane is for PASSING! If you're only gonna drive 50, move the bleep over!! I have NO patience on the road at all! Yesterday, I was going home for lunch and I had a stop sign at a 4-way stop. The lady to the right of me completely blew thru her stop sign going like 40mph! She didn't even PRETEND to slow down! I saw she had her windows open so I screamed at her, 'YOU HAD A STOP SIGN!' I doubt she heard me but it felt good anyway

I yell out my window all the time. Especially when people don't put their blinkers on. I will roll around them and scream at them lol

Half the time people get cut off cause theyre going to slow. Funny thing is, when someone is driving slow and I put my blinker on to go around them, THEY SPEED UP. Because everyone feels like they OWN the effin road. Im pretty sure the reason she ended up getting cut off is cause she sped up to stop you from going in front of her. Dont feel bad. You cant apologize to everyone on the road. Its impossible.
