Has anyone been to Spain?

I am looking to book our Spain trip (Madrid & Barcelona) and I was wondering is it worth it to stay in Madrid and Barcelona 3 days each? Also going to go to Lisbon as well.

Any advice?

I haven't been to Barcelona or Lisbon but 3 days is definitely worth it in Madrid. I think that's all we stayed.

It's enough time to see the sights. We did the Prado Museum, the Royal Palace, this realy cool convent with amazing artwork, did a half day tour of the city and just walked around and amused ourselves. We also did a day trip to Toledo.

I love love love love Spain!

Ok...the package has 2 days but I wanted to know if it was worth the money to stay the extra day...and it gives us a chance to see toledo which is great too.

I've been to Lisbon and Barcelona, not Madrid.

I think 3 days are definitely worthwhile in Barca. You can spend a whole day taking in Sagrada Familia and then another day at the the Gaudi park, I think it's called Parque Guell.

I recommend picking up a top 10 book- great to have! Are you staying around the Rambla? We did and it's a SCENE....like, not really in a good way at night. Street walkers galore so be cautious. BUT that said, it's fun.

There's this great backpacker bar in the rambla....it has a great outdoor courtyard with cheap tapas...I'll look it up and report back.
